Medieval Rustic Soft Cover 

This soft bendable leather bound blank book 
style speaks of adventure!
It is crafted with the finest full grain leather available.
The fore edge of the hide extends to create a protective wrap around cover and will remain closed and secure with a leather tie closure and olive wood button.
Perfect for those on the go who love to carry their writing journal or sketchbook everywhere!

Traditional Full Bound Hard Cover

This style leather bound blank book is most reminiscent of
 traditional library tomes of antiquity. It is crafted with a lightweight but durable full grain leather. This hard cover tome will be the perfect addition to display on your writers desk or in your private library!

  Two Distinct Binding Types:

Hand Stitched (Sewn) Permanent Binding 

Perfected in the 15th century, this type of binding was used as early as the 12th century by monks. This is the method of sewing folded sections of paper (signatures) together over leather cords or cloth tape. The hand stitched paper
(book block) is then bound permanently between boards
and cured skins.
   This type of binding is permanent.

Hand Laced Refillable Binding

 One of the earliest and most simple forms of binding.
 The cord bound book superseded the rolled form.
 The manuscript in flat book form was held together by a cord which passed through holes pierced along the spine of parchment or paper sheets. D'Vyne Wrytes blank books are a modernized version. The books are pierced with a standard three hole punch to accommodate loose leaf notepaper or day planner fillers.   This style binding was inspired by early codex side-stabbed binding method.
This type of binding is refillable.

Each book is personally hand crafted to your specifications using the highest grade quality full grain leather available and acid free parchment paper.
